We are proud to present this site to our neighbors in El Paso, Texas. Our goal is to help everyone in our small gated community keep their dogs safe. In all my years I have owned and helped many dogs. It's a natural to me and somehow I find dogs often or they find me. I decided to launch this site as a useful tool, so that our neighborhood could help each other watch over our four legged friends.
All you have to do is register your dog and it's FREE. Once we receive your registration form and preferably a photo of your dog, jpeg only format, then we provide each registered owner with a username and password. We will input and upload the owner information.
If your dog gets lost, we send out an ALERT via email to all the neighbors who are registered. We encourage you to tell your closest neighbors and friends that live on our island to be sure and register. It's free, it's for everyone who owns a dog. The more who register, the more familiar everyone will be to knowing each other's beloved dog.
It happens more times than a few that a dog will get out of the house or slip out of the yard. Someone leaves a door open or a gate to a yard and in a matter of seconds your dog has traveled off to never never land. We believe this will help get them back home to you in a quicker time safely.
Please don't forget to micro-chip and put a collar with rabies tag and owner information. This gives you a much better chance of getting your dog back, if lost. If Animal Control picks up your dog and no id at all, they put down in 3 days of catching them. If they are micro-chipped or rabies tags, 6 days, so it's a battle of time to insure your animal is returned safely.
The Animal control is located on 5001 Fred Wilson and the phone number is 915 842-1000. A organization was formed at the Animal Shelter, called New Hope Alliance. Visit www.adoptapoundpet.org. They are trying their hardest to help all pets find a forever home. They are adopting out healthy and socialized animals. You can contact New Hope Alliance at 915 842-1061. Help save animals.
Don't forget, never buy from a pet store or puppy mill. There are thousands of homeless animals and they need homes so badly. Be sure and spay and neuter your pet to avoid more over population. There are over 23,000 animals euthanized in El Paso each year.
